How soon do I get paid after an escrow closes?
You can get paid direct from escrow same day*. Your real estate transaction file must be certified by our corporate real estate broker before you can be paid. Additionally, we belong to eCommission so this is another option to receive advanced payment.
Can I negotiate my commissions with clients?
Yes. The law provides that real estate brokers and agents are free to negotiate their own sales commissions.
What was the transition like moving from a traditional real estate office to a virtual brokerage?
It will be a much easier transition than you anticipate as most real estate agents already have home offices and mobile devices streamlining their real estate business practices.
Am I free to use any lender, title or escrow company in my transactions?
Yes. Although we have great working relationships with many vendors and/or service providers, you are free to select the services that best suit your clients’ needs. A regional list of reputable service providers is easily accessible and readily available on our back office Agent Command Center. If you need additional suggestions, we have an “Ask the Broker” section to get answers to any questions you may have.
Can I use my own vendor for business cards, signs and marketing materials?
Yes, you may use your current vendor or one of our approved vendors that carry the Summit Realty Group logo. Please keep in mind that all real estate marketing materials need to have our Summit Realty Group logo. The vendors we have chosen keep a template of our logo on file. We have negotiated discounts, so you will probably find that you can get them at a much better value with one of our approved vendors. However, if you prefer to have them made elsewhere, you can simply provide them with our logo, which is available in our Agent Command Center. If you choose to have your current vendor design your real estate marketing materials, we ask that the templates be approved by our real estate broker in advance.
What forms does Summit Realty Group use and where can I find them?
We only use state or local Realtor association approved forms. You may also obtain many real estate forms directly from our Agent Command Center.
What if I refer a client to another broker and receive a referral fee?
Summit Realty Group agents may receive a referral fee from another real estate broker. Summit Realty Group’s fee will be 5% of the referral fee.
Do you provide office space or a conference room?
No, if you’re going to the office everyday looking for real estate business, you’re not looking in the right place! Our philosophy of being a virtual eco friendly real estate brokerage means just that. Our real estate agents are truly self-reliant and work best from their home office, the field and at open houses. Keeping our company overhead low by being a virtual brokerage allows us to provide other valuable benefits for our real estate agents. It is fiscally responsible and is a win win for all of us! We believe that big fancy traditional real estate offices are a thing of the past. The new paradigm is virtual. Everyone has tablets, laptops, smart phones and GPS in their cars. So being a mobile real estate agent is Today’s Reality.
Can I open a branch office of Summit Realty Group?
Yes, you can request an approval from our corporate real estate broker to open your own branch real estate office!
Do you offer an agent referral and recruiting bonus?
Yes. We have offer a real estate agent referral and recruiting bonus program.
How do I get broker support?
Real estate broker assistance is provided by contacting the broker directly via email, text and or phone to answer any of your questions.
